I have complete faith in Mr Pereira as a neurosurgeon. My experiences with him have all been positive, and although having DBS was a somewhat daunting operation to say the least, he took me through it and I came out the other side. The after care I have received has been amazing second to nun.. I cannot rate the Doctors the Surgeons and the nursing specialists highly enough. Their enthusiasm is amazing, I have been very humbled by the whole ex[perience of being a patient at St Georges. I cannot rate Mr Pereira highly enough, and I should like to include the rest of my amazing team Dr Francesca Morgante, who is determined to get me leading a "normal" life, and CNS Alison Leake who is always at the end of a phone, and Dr Pavoire at whose suggestion started the whole operation!!!. A heartfelt thanks to you all,.

I was fortunate to have been referred to the renowned Neurosurgery Department of St George's. Mr Pereira was easy to talk to you, explained things clearly and I knew that I was in very safe hands with a Consultant Neurosurgeon of his expertise and experience. My sincere thanks are due to him for his help in relieving my pain. Patrick Lines.

I was referred to Mr. Pereira from my GP by chance for a herniated disc. I found him a friendly surgeon who was great at explaining my options for treatment, not only discussing surgery but also the alternatives. Prior to the operation, his team was excellent at explaining the procedure and what the likely timescale after surgery would be too. He visited the following day after surgery to check up on me and make sure all was well. I'd happily recommend him to anyone who requires his help.

I was transferred from my local hospital in Surrey to St Georges after a serious brain haemorrhage. I was under Mr Pereira's care during my 2 weeks admission to the hospital which included time in ICU as well as the ward. I felt incredibly well looked after and listened to. He had a excellent bedside manner and his care was very holistic and patient centred throughout. As a GP myself I did feel more anxious about being a patient, but he had an excellent rapport and made me and my family feel listened to and comfortable throughout- clearly discussing management plans with us at each stage. His care really was superb.
